Pam is on course!

Pam is on course!
Womens winner of the Pro-Am spot, Pam Smigowski has accepted the challenge and is at thIs moment playing in the 2018 Pro Am at 13th Beach.

Pam admitted to some nerves starting to rise, but she was assured it was more fun than anything else – Womens Golf Ops are very proud to be able to offer this award and we eagerly await a short story from Pam on how the day went – I don’t think the weather is too kind though!

Report from Pam,
Well what an interesting day, our team consisted of:
Breanna Gill from Perth our professional off scratch
Toby Sauni off 5
Darren Fox off 7
And me playing off 19 on the Creek Course.

I didn’t expect to be able to contribute much given only two scores required for each hole, but did manage to get on the score card 4 times.
Our group was lucky enough to be issued carts and I shared a cart with Breanna who was very nice and offered some advice which made up for no caddie…..Ann wouldn’t run behind!!
The weather was pretty cold and very windy but at least the rain stayed away, the bunkers were all full of water which caused some issues but I managed to stay out of them.
Breanna was amazing to watch, matching or out driving the men and deadly accurate at the pin. I will be watching her progress in the open with interest, along with Stephen Dartnell who was in the group in front and we got to interact often and watch him tee off.

Finally we all received a lovely giveaway bag….even some undies for my husband, plus drinks and snacks provided for on course and a lovely dinner during presentation.
The day was very well run and I’ve had a very enjoyable day.
Many thanks for organising for me.
