Queens Park Golf Club was the venue for the wind– up day for the Women Sunday pennant players of the district.
In blue skies, on a well– presented course, with autumnal colours abounding the valley course provided the stage for the SWGA 4 bbb stableford competition.
The field though small, added a touch of class to the regular Sunday morning golfers teeing it up in the bustling community reserve.
Congratulations to the winners of the day from Queens Park Golf Club Tracey Hynes & Roslyn Brooks with 39 points.
Runners up– Anne Shuttleworth & Barb Chapell from Lonsdale Links with 38 points on a countback from Marg McCathy & Jane Millar from Anglesea.
NTP on 3rd– Anne Shuttleworth. NTP on 12th– Tracey Hynes.
• It was great to have Life member of SWGA Joye Burton on hand to help with the cards, do the presentation and take the photos, just like she has done in so many district events before. Thankyou Joye.
• Special thanks to Carol Doran, Queens Park Captain who had late notice was able to cajole the club to host this event.
