South Western Golf Association has become a signatory to the R & A Women in Golf Charter.
Launched by the R&A in 2018, the Women in Golf Charter aims to foster a more inclusive culture across golf and create greater opportunities for women and girls to participate, develop, and succeed at every level of the game.

The Charter closely aligns with Golf Australia’s national strategy by promoting inclusion, welcoming all golfers, reinforcing that golf is a game for everyone, and challenging the perception that the sport is exclusive.
Our Commitment
Women and girls remain underrepresented in golf in Australia and around the world. South Western Golf Association recognises this imbalance and is committed to taking meaningful action to improve representation, participation, and opportunity across the sport.
