The South Western Golf Association was formed following the amalgamation of the Geelong & District Men’s Golf Association, established in 1926 and the South West District Ladies Golf Association, founded in 1933.

The amalgamation took place on 15th September 2016 where a new constitution was accepted and a new name of South Western Golf Assoc Inc was adopted.

The amalgamation brought together the two local golf bodies to collaborate ideas, share resources and to jointly promote golf in our District as the game for life for all ages, genders and abilities.

Our Vision

To provide golfers of all ages, gender and abilities with the opportunity to participate in events, to promote club events, conduct competitions, Championships and Pennant and to make golf a sport of choice for all adults and juniors.
