First played in 1930 as an interclub event. Original clubs were Queenscliff, Barwon Heads, East Geelong, Londsdale, & Torquay.

Now played as a team event consisting of 4 club members, men & women, playing single stableford with the best three scores counting towards the Colin Campbell Cup.
