EVENT CONDITIONS:

1.     Players must have a playing membership of a SWGA affiliated club.

2.     Maximum Golf Australia handicap of 27  

3.     Ties to be decided by Golf Australia countback system.

4.     Field maximum is 54 pairs and played in 6’s

5.     In case of more than 54  team, ballot by handicap.

This prestegious event has been running since 1959 when JH Briody and WM Russell were the first winners of this district event.

The names appearing on the trophy are the “who’s who” of golfing royalty who have played with clubs associated with the original Geelong and District Golf Association and now the South West Golf Association.

A foursomes event we encourage male golfers to participate.
