Women's Merit Award

Initiated in 1996, to encourage women to enter and support other club’s events within the SWD the Merit Brooch. An award for points amassed during nominated club events. Points are awarded based on these (stroke) rounds. The player with the most points accumulated throughout the nominated season, is announced as the Medal Winner.

In 2017 the Merit Award was expanded to include Gross, Nett and Stableford. Players may win Medals in each section.
