Women's Championship - C Grade

Margaret Smith Trophy

Originally known as the Bronze Division with handicaps 19-36 and inaugurated in 1981, was divided into two further divisions, the 30-36 handicap division was then named for Margaret Smith who had been associated with the District for many years.

Mrs Smith won the SWDGA Championships 6 six times.
In 2000, the handicap range was changed to 30-45 and is now played as a Stableford event and the winner is awarded The Margaret Smith Trophy.
